Tokenization

During the purchase flow, there are two types of customers, Anonymous users, and Registered users. This section explains both types and how to include them in a purchase.

What's next?

One-Time Token

An anonymous user is not registered on the site and makes a one-time purchase. In this case, you must always ask for the card data to complete the transaction.

Recurring Use Token

Despite the Anonymous users, these users are registered on the website so that you can identify them, and their card information can be associated to perform other purchases without having to provide this information again.

Direct Tokenization for PCI Merchants

If your commerce is PCI-compliant, this functionality allows you to create the tokens for the cards used in your Web through API, so you don’t need to invoke the Checkout Form.

Discover how Bamboo supports Network Tokens for Visa and Mastercard with pass-through capabilities to enhance digital payment security and reduce fraud by replacing sensitive card data with secure tokens.
