Considerations

  • For Visa and MasterCard, the acquirer performs a void operation if you request a refund on the same day before 0:00. You can only process refunds for transactions that occurred more than 48 hours after the settlement.
  • You can perform zero authorization transactions to register or validate Visa and MasterCard cards.
  • Refunds for UnionPay, Diners, and Amex are not online; you must request them by contacting support. Refunds for Amex apply for transactions up to six months old and three months for Diners.
  • You can request refunds for Yape transactions made before 23:59 Lima time on the same day.
